LaTasha T. Hibbert offers over 10 years of experience in public accounting. Her vast experience and skills serve as a basis to provide financial accounting and tax services to clients with various needs, including CFO/controller services, bookkeeping, assessment of internal controls, education on accounting procedures, set-up and maintenance of general ledger accounting systems, various state and payroll tax filings, tax planning and preparation, among others. LaTasha serves the following industries: health care, not-for-profits, real estate, construction, and other closely held businesses.
LaTasha graduated from Towson University, Towson, Maryland where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in accounting. Prior to establishing herself as a sole proprietor in Maryland, LaTasha worked as a senior accountant at mid-size public accounting firms in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, where she performed and supervised financial audits as well as agreed-upon procedures for not-for-profit and governmental entities. Her responsibilities included planning and performing audits in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. She also was instrumental in the set-up and client training of general ledger accounting systems (i.e. Peachtree, Quickbooks, etc.) and advising clients on proper application of accounting standards and
